Operation Clothing Drop Inc

Operation Clothing Drop Inc. was founded by US Army veteran Rowan Laidlaw. It is a nonprofit with the mission to help homeless veterans with housing, food, clothing and other necessities. Rowan is a great believer in the adage' Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime'. As such, Operation Clothing Drop also strives to enable veterans with skills that integrate them into the modern day job market. The participants assist take control of their own destiny by reconstructing old buildings to make them habitable for themselves and other veterans. This involvement gives them a sense of purpose in the community.

Operation Clothing Drop, as the name suggests, also distributes clothing to those in need especially during the harsh winter months when according to HUD figures,up to 49,333 veterans are homeless on any given night.

Having proudly served the US during a 4 year tour of duty both in the United States and abroad in Iraq, Rowan has always been deeply passionate about the plight of fellow veterans and has long been researching ways to best assist those in need. He became aware of the overwhelming number of displaced veterans who desperately need help. Establishing this non-profit organization was the culmination of his research as to the best way to give back to the veterans who were willing to lay their lives on the line for the freedoms enjoyed by the people of the United States.
